This post is going to be short and sweet.
Smith Park is a cute, small, and sandy little park. Its got the bare necessities of a good park; swings, slides and things to climb. What makes this park noteworthy is two things:
- The location- This park is nestled right in a residential area surrounded by homes. There are two pathways that you can take either in or out, but there isn’t any parking other than street parking. There is plenty of shade around the outskirts as well as the same sketchy bathrooms the other wading pools have had.
- The wading pool- The wading pool is great, and shade comes right up to the edge of the pool so you can be in the shade but still close to your kids.
I love that this park is completely encircled by homes and that the park, pool and green space is wide open so you can keep an eye on your kids no matter where they adventure off too in the park. Another plus is that its typically pretty quiet. This pool is open Monday to Friday 11-4.
